What is an MSc in
Entrepreneurship in France?
An MSc in Entrepreneurship — also called MSc in Innovation & Entrepreneurship or Entrepreneurship & Innovation Management — is a postgraduate degree that equips you with the skills to ideate, validate, fund, and scale new ventures or drive innovation inside established organisations.
Unlike a traditional MBA, an entrepreneurship masters welcomes fresh graduates and early-career professionals. You do not need a prior business degree — students from engineering, science, design, and humanities thrive in these programs because diverse perspectives fuel better ventures.
France is uniquely positioned for this degree. Paris hosts Station F — the world's largest startup campus — and the French government's La French Tech initiative actively funds and supports entrepreneurs. Schools like HEC Paris, ESSEC, and EM Lyon embed incubation directly into their curricula, meaning you graduate with a launched or investment-ready venture, not just a business plan.

6 Reasons France Is
Europe's Best Launchpad
for Entrepreneurs
No country in Europe combines startup infrastructure, government support, world-class education, and founder-friendly immigration like France does. Here is why.
Station F — World's Largest Startup Campus
Paris is home to Station F, the world's largest startup campus, housing 1,000+ startups under one roof. HEC, ESSEC, and other top schools run dedicated programs inside Station F, giving students direct access to venture building from day one.
La French Tech — A Government-Backed Ecosystem
France's La French Tech initiative provides funding, mentorship, and visa support for entrepreneurs. The French Tech Visa allows startup founders to live and work in France — making it one of the most founder-friendly countries in Europe.
Paris — Europe's Fastest-Growing Startup Hub
Paris has surpassed London in early-stage venture capital funding. With over 20,000 startups, a thriving VC ecosystem, and global accelerators like Techstars and Plug and Play, Paris is where European innovation now happens.
School Incubators That Launch Real Ventures
Unlike theoretical entrepreneurship programs elsewhere, French business schools run in-house incubators. EM Lyon has launched 1,500+ ventures. EDHEC, ESSEC, and HEC all provide seed funding, mentorship, and investor access to student founders.
2-Year Post-Study Work + French Tech Visa
The APS permit gives graduates 2 years to work or launch a venture in France. Combine this with the French Tech Visa for founders, and you have a direct pathway from student to startup CEO — with full Schengen access.
Lower Cost, Higher Venture Support Than US/UK
A world-ranked MSc in Entrepreneurship in France costs ₹12–45 lakhs — far less than comparable US programs ($60,000+). French schools also provide incubation, seed funding, and free co-working spaces that US and UK schools rarely match.

What Indian Students
Need to Qualify
These are baseline criteria. Our counsellors assess your profile individually and tell you exactly where you stand.
Academic Score & Accepted Degrees
Bachelor's degree (3 or 4 years) in any discipline — B.Tech, BBA, BCom, BSc, BA, BCA all accepted. HEC Paris and ESSEC expect 75%+ (CGPA 7.5+). EM Lyon and EDHEC accept 65%–70%. SKEMA, NEOMA, IESEG, and TBS work with 60%+. No prior startup or business experience required for most programs.
GMAT / GRE Score
HEC Paris and ESSEC strongly prefer GMAT 650+ or GRE 315+. EM Lyon and EDHEC prefer GMAT/GRE but waive for strong profiles or demonstrated entrepreneurial experience. Smaller business schools usually do not require it. A strong score unlocks scholarships worth 10%–50% of tuition. Plan to take the GMAT 4–6 months before your application deadline.
English Proficiency
IELTS 6.5 (no band below 6.0) or TOEFL iBT 90+. All entrepreneurship MSc programs listed here are fully taught in English. Students from English-medium Indian colleges often qualify for waivers.
Work Experience
Not mandatory — most entrepreneurship MSc programs welcome fresh graduates with 0–2 years of experience. However, any startup involvement, hackathon wins, freelance projects, or even a 3–6 month internship at a startup or incubator will significantly strengthen your application at HEC and ESSEC. Demonstrable entrepreneurial drive matters more than years of experience.
Documents Required
Statement of Purpose (1–2 pages, essay-style — highlight your entrepreneurial vision and any ventures you've explored), 2–3 Letters of Recommendation (1 academic + 1 professional or mentor preferred), updated CV, all academic transcripts, passport copy, and any relevant startup pitch decks or project portfolios. SOPs are checked for plagiarism — always write your own.
Not sure if you qualify? Our counsellors do a profile analysis and tell you which schools you can get into — and what it takes to strengthen your application.

We've lived this
journey.
We walk it with you.
We've stood where you are — uncertain, hopeful, and afraid of getting it wrong.
What began as our own journey to France became a promise to guide others with honesty, not pressure. Our founders and partners don't just know about France — they live in Europe. Our co-founder pursued her Masters in France and calls Paris home today.
She didn't read about the experience online. She lived it. That means when you talk to us, you get reality — not a sales pitch built on brochures. We tell you what university interviews feel like. What the visa process actually requires. What Paris costs in January. What you'll miss about India, and what you'll love about France.

Career Prospects After
