What is an MSc in Supply
Chain Management?
An MSc in Supply Chain Management is a specialised postgraduate degree that prepares you to design, optimise, and lead the end-to-end flow of goods, information, and capital across global networks. From sourcing raw materials in Asia to delivering finished products in Europe, supply chain professionals are the backbone of modern commerce.
These programs cover logistics planning, procurement strategy, demand forecasting, warehouse management, sustainability in operations, and digital supply chain technologies like AI, IoT, and blockchain. Most French programs include a mandatory 4–6 month internship with leading European companies.
France is uniquely positioned for this discipline. As the EU's second-largest economy, it houses the headquarters of Airbus, Renault, Danone, CMA CGM (one of the world's largest shipping companies), and Schneider Electric — all of which run immensely complex global supply chains and actively recruit from French business schools.

6 Reasons France Is
the Best Place to Study
Supply Chain Management
France sits at the crossroads of European commerce. Its ports, factories, and business schools together create the ideal environment to master global supply chains.
Europe's Largest Logistics Hub
France is the EU's second-largest economy and a central node in European logistics. With major ports at Marseille, Le Havre, and Dunkirk, plus the continent's densest rail and motorway networks, France processes over 500 million tonnes of freight annually. Studying supply chain here means learning from the infrastructure itself.
Airbus, Renault & Global Supply Chains
France is home to Airbus, Renault, PSA Group, Danone, L'Oreal, and Schneider Electric — companies that run some of the world's most complex supply chains. French business schools partner directly with these firms for live case studies, internships, and placements.
Triple Crown Schools at Lower Cost
French business schools offering supply chain MSc programs hold AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA accreditations — the 'Triple Crown' earned by fewer than 1% of business schools worldwide. Tuition ranges ₹10–30 lakhs, significantly less than comparable UK or US programs.
Mandatory Industry Internship
Every MSc supply chain program in France includes a 4–6 month internship with European companies. You graduate with real operations experience on your CV — not just theory. Many students intern with logistics giants, automotive manufacturers, and FMCG companies.
2-Year Post-Study Work Visa
France's APS permit lets you live and work across the Schengen zone for two years after graduation. Supply chain professionals are in high demand across the EU, giving Indian graduates a direct path to European careers and long-term residency.
Exceptional ROI for Indian Students
A world-accredited MSc in Supply Chain from France costs ₹10–30 lakhs — a fraction of what similar programs cost in the UK (£25,000+) or USA ($50,000+). With starting salaries of €36,000–€65,000 and strong employer demand, the return on investment is among the best in Europe.

What Indian Students
Need to Qualify
These are baseline criteria. Our counsellors assess your profile individually and tell you exactly where you stand.
Academic Score & Accepted Degrees
Bachelor's degree (3 or 4 years) in Engineering, Commerce, Science, or any quantitative discipline. ESCP and KEDGE expect 70%+ (CGPA 7.0+). SKEMA and Grenoble EM accept 60%+. Rennes, TBS, and EM Strasbourg work with 55%+. Some programs accept all streams with strong academic records.
GMAT / GRE
A GMAT of 550–650 strengthens applications at ESCP, KEDGE, and SKEMA. Several schools waive the GMAT for strong profiles. A good score also unlocks merit scholarships worth 10%–40% of tuition. Plan to take the GMAT 4–6 months before your application deadline.
English Proficiency
IELTS 6.5 (no band below 6.0) or TOEFL iBT 90+. All programs listed here are taught entirely in English. ESCP accepts an MOI certificate if your bachelor's was taught entirely in English for 3+ years. Students from English-medium Indian colleges often qualify for waivers.
Work Experience
Not strictly mandatory, but internships or work experience in logistics, operations, procurement, warehousing, or supply chain consulting significantly strengthen your application. ESCP and KEDGE value 6–12 months of relevant professional exposure. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), inventory management, or last-mile delivery operations is a strong differentiator.
Documents Required
Statement of Purpose (1–2 pages, essay-style), 2–3 Letters of Recommendation (1 academic + 1 professional preferred), updated CV, all academic transcripts, passport copy, and any relevant project reports or supply chain certifications (CSCP, CLTD). Important: Charpak Scholarship SOPs are checked for plagiarism and AI-generated content is now flagged — always write your own.
Not sure if you qualify? Our counsellors do a profile analysis and tell you which schools you can get into — and what it takes to strengthen your application.
