What is an MSc in
Project Management in France?
An MSc in Project Management is a specialised postgraduate degree that trains you to plan, execute, and deliver complex projects — from multi-billion euro aerospace programmes at Airbus to digital transformation initiatives at global consultancies.
Unlike a general MBA, which covers broad business strategy, this degree dives deep into project planning, risk management, stakeholder coordination, agile methodologies, and programme governance. You learn the exact frameworks — PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum — that employers demand.
France is uniquely positioned for this discipline. It is home to the world's largest infrastructure, aerospace, and energy companies — Airbus, Total, EDF, Vinci, Bouygues — all of which recruit project managers directly from French business schools with mandatory internship pipelines.

6 Reasons France Is
the Best Place to Study
Project Management
From Airbus hangars in Toulouse to EDF nuclear plants and Vinci infrastructure — France runs some of the planet's most complex projects. Here is why it is the ideal place to learn project management.
Airbus, Total & EDF Mega-Projects
France is home to some of the world's largest infrastructure, aerospace, and energy projects. Airbus, Total, EDF, and Vinci run multi-billion euro programmes — and they recruit project managers directly from French business schools.
PMP & PRINCE2 Aligned Curricula
French MSc programmes integrate PMP, PRINCE2, and Agile/Scrum frameworks into their coursework. You graduate with globally recognised project management competencies — not just theory, but certification-ready skills.
Mandatory Internship Experience
Every programme mandates a 4–6 month internship, often with major French and European corporations. You graduate with real project delivery experience on your CV — a decisive advantage over classroom-only degrees.
Triple Crown Business Schools
Most leading French business schools hold AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA accreditations — the 'Triple Crown' earned by fewer than 1% of business schools worldwide. Your degree is recognised by employers on every continent.
2-Year Post-Study Work Visa
France's APS permit gives you the right to live and work in France for two years after graduation, with full Schengen zone access — a direct path to European project management careers and residency.
Better ROI than UK or USA
A world-ranked MSc in Project Management from France costs ₹10–30 lakhs — significantly less than the UK or USA, with equal or greater global employer recognition and stronger internship guarantees.

What Indian Students
Need to Qualify
These are baseline criteria. Our counsellors assess your profile individually and tell you exactly where you stand.
Academic Score & Accepted Degrees
Bachelor's degree in any discipline — Engineering, Commerce, IT, or Science backgrounds preferred. ESCP expects 75%+ (CGPA 7.5+). SKEMA and KEDGE accept 65%+. NEOMA, Grenoble EM, and other Grande Ecoles work with 55–65%+. Public university programs accept 55–60%.
GMAT / GRE
A GMAT of 600–680 strengthens applications at ESCP, SKEMA, and KEDGE. ESCP strongly prefers GMAT 650+. Several schools waive GMAT for strong profiles. A good score also unlocks 10%–50% scholarships at most business schools.
English Proficiency
IELTS 6.5 (no band below 6.0) or TOEFL iBT 90+. ESCP expects IELTS 7.0. Students from English-medium Indian colleges often qualify for waivers. No French language requirement for admission.
Work Experience
Not mandatory for MSc programs, but project experience in any industry significantly strengthens your application. PMP awareness or familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is valued at SKEMA and KEDGE. Candidates with 1–2 years of project coordination, consulting, or team-lead experience have a strong edge at ESCP and Grenoble EM.
Documents Required
Statement of Purpose (1–2 pages explaining your project management career vision), 2 Letters of Recommendation (1 academic + 1 professional preferred), updated CV highlighting project leadership and team experience, all academic transcripts, passport copy, and any relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile). Charpak Scholarship SOPs are checked for plagiarism — always write your own.
