Masters in France
for Indian Students —
The Complete Guide
France has 18 QS Top-100 universities, 1,700+ English-taught Masters, mandatory paid internships, and a 2-year post-study work visa. For Indian students, it is Europe's most compelling destination.
6 Reasons France
Is Europe's Best
Masters Destination
No country in Western Europe combines world-class engineering education, affordable public university fees, mandatory paid internships, and a clear post-study immigration pathway the way France does. Here is why.
World-Class Engineering Tradition
France has 18 QS Top-100 universities. Ecole Polytechnique, CentraleSupélec, Mines ParisTech — all globally ranked. The grandes écoles system produces engineers who build Airbus, Ariane rockets, and TGV trains.
Lowest Tuition in Western Europe
Public university Masters tuition is capped at €601/year for eligible programmes. Private business schools range from €10,000–€30,000/year. Either way, France costs 60–80% less than the UK for an equivalent programme.
1,700+ English-Taught Masters
You do not need French to study in France. Over 1,700 Masters programmes are fully taught in English — in engineering, CS, AI, data science, business, and more.
Paid Mandatory Internships (Stage)
Almost every Masters in France includes a 4–6 month mandatory internship — called a "stage rémunéré" — that pays minimum SMIC wage (€11.88/hr). You graduate with real European work experience.
2-Year Post-Study Work Visa (APS)
After graduating from any French university, you get an Autorisation Provisoire de Séjour (APS) — a 12-month permit to job search in France with full work rights. Find a job earning €32,400+ and you qualify for the 4-year Passeport Talent permit — a direct path to European residency.
India-France Strategic Partnership
The 2023 India-France "Horizon 2047" roadmap targets 30,000 Indian students in France by 2030. This means new bilateral scholarships, dedicated Campus France India pathways, and unprecedented political will to welcome Indian talent.

Admission Requirements
for Indian Students
These are baseline criteria. Our counsellors assess your profile individually and advise on exactly where you stand.
Academic Background
Bachelor's degree in any discipline (for management/social sciences) or STEM field (for engineering/CS). Public universities typically accept 60%+ (CGPA 6.0+). Top grandes écoles (HEC Paris, Ecole Polytechnique) expect 75%+ (CGPA 7.5+). Sciences Po accepts diverse academic backgrounds.
GMAT / GRE
Required for HEC Paris MBA (GMAT 700+), INSEAD (GMAT 710+), and most top business schools. Not required for public university Masters or engineering programs. Can strengthen borderline applications at mid-tier private schools.
English Proficiency
IELTS 6.5–7.0 (no band below 6.0) or TOEFL iBT 90–100 for most programs. Students from English-medium Indian universities may qualify for waivers. French language is NOT required for English-taught programs.
Work Experience
Not mandatory for most Masters programs (MiM, MSc). MBA programs require 3–7 years of professional experience. Technical experience (research projects, internships, coding portfolios) strengthens engineering applications.
Documents Required
SOP/Motivation Letter (1–2 pages), 2 Letters of Recommendation, updated CV, all academic transcripts, language proficiency scores, passport copy. For Campus France EEF: proof of financial resources (€10,530/year minimum). SOP quality is crucial at top schools — avoid AI-generated content.

We've lived this
journey.
We walk it with you.
We've stood where you are — uncertain, hopeful, and afraid of getting it wrong.
What began as our own journey to France became a promise to guide others with honesty, not pressure. Our founders and partners don't just know about France — they live in Europe. Our co-founder pursued her Masters in France and calls Paris home today.
She didn't read about the experience online. She lived it. That means when you talk to us, you get reality — not a sales pitch built on brochures. We tell you what university interviews feel like, what the visa process actually requires, what Paris costs in January, what you'll miss about India, and what you'll love about France.
"We are always there to help or guide you — anytime — from India to France, forever."
